These almonds are only shelled and the seed does not undergo treatment with special products.
It is recommended to keep them in a glass container and to air them weekly for few minutes.

The seed of almond dulcis has been used in cooking since ancient times, in the Middle Ages it was present in sweets and it was used to make almond oil. Today instead, it is mostly eaten as dried fruit to be tasted during an aperitif or after meals or to make the famous almond milk. It has a high caloric value, and it is rich in magnesium, iron, calcium and vitamin E.
